Vice President, CMS Ask Hospitals to Report COVID-19 Data

In a letter to U.S. hospitals this Sunday, Vice President Mike Pence requested that hospitals report data to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services about COVID-19 tests conducted by in-house labs and by certain independent labs. He also asked hospitals to report daily bed capacity and critical supply status to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN).
